Christopher D. Boyle began his career as an accountant with the New York / Long Island office of Deloitte & Touche in 1986. Mr. Boyle first became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (New York) in 1988. Mr. Boyle is the founder of L. A. Tax.

In May of 1986, Mr. Boyle earned a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (cum laude) from the Schools of Business – Adelphi University (Garden City, New York). Shortly thereafter, Mr. Boyle became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (New York) in December 1988, passing each section of the exam on his first sitting. Beginning in 2001, Mr. Boyle became a California Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP). Mr. Boyle stays abreast of current tax laws and issues by completing over sixty (60) hours of continuing professional education per annum.

Mr. Boyle is a distinguished member of the Institute of Management Accountants (1984 to present). Mr. Boyle has served on the Board of Directors for the South Bay Chapter (California) and in New York served as Director for the Metro NY/NJ Council. As a member of the Long Island Chapter (1985 to 1991) Mr. Boyle was selected from over 540 members and presented with the Member of the Year award.
